10 years and 4 months!

We celebrated a few milestones this week.  Chris and I had our 10 year anniversary on Friday!  I can't believe it was 10 years ago that we said our vows in St. Simons and had a fabulous party with our family and friends.  I guess time flies when you're having fun.  Our lives have changed quite a bit in 10 years!  I love you honey and I'm looking forward to many, many more!!

Our wedding day!  Sept 7, 2002
And now - 10 wonderful years later!
And Matthew turned 4 months old on Thursday.  I know 4 months isn't a huge milestone, but it seems to be the beginning of my favorite baby stage.  He is very alert and curious about everything and is just generally happier.  He has very little 'unexplained fussiness' anymore and I can usually tell exactly what he wants when he gets upset.  I remember Mason hitting this stage at about the same time.

Here are some 4 month stats:
  • Weighs 15lbs, 4oz (50-75 percentile) and 24.25 inches (25-50 percentile).  He continues to be our little chunk
  • Eating about 5oz of breastmilk, 5 times per day
  • Also starting baby food!  Rice cereal mixed with baby food twice a day.  So far we've tried apples and bananas and he likes them both.
  • Sleeping almost 11 hours at night, (about 7:30 pm to 6 am) with a 'dream feed' around 10pm.  WOOHOO!!! He still wakes occasionally, but is sleeping great! This was not an easy task - thanks Moms on Call and all my mommy friends for support.
  • He smiles, coos and 'talks' all the time now.  We're starting to get some serious belly laughs too, which is adorable.  My favorite part of the day is when I go to his crib in the morning and he gives me the biggest 'Hi Mommy!!!' smile!
  • He's rolling over, pushing up during tummy time and likes to be held up to stand.  I think he's going to be mobile before we know it :-(
  • Current likes:  watching babies play at school, watching brother play at home, looking in the mirror, 'standing' (with help of course), his play mat, bumbo seat.
  • Current dislikes:  being left alone, riding in the car, napping in his crib at school (sound familiar?)
My sweet happy boy at 4 months old.  We love you Chunk!
