Snow day!

After all the craziness when the whole family was home safely, we had a blast playing in the snow! This was both of the boys' first 'real' snow. We had a really nice snow in January 2011 when Mason was about 7 months old, but obviously he doesn't remember and he wasn't big enough to play in it. We played in our backyard Tuesday afternoon while it was still coming down pretty hard and then we ventured around the neighborhood Wednesday morning to play with some friends. We attempted sledding and building a snowman, but the snow was too soft. The iced over roads worked well for sledding, but I didn't let the boys try it (daddy did). And of course, both boys were cold and had had enough after about 10 minutes... which was about half as long as it took to get everyone bundled up to go outside!
